Scholarship Eligibility
All Scholarship Applications meeting the donors’ and board’s criteria received between January 9 – April 2, 2012 will be considered for a scholarship to the 31st Annual July School. All currently funded scholarships will be awarded by drawing the designated number from those who submitted during the allotted time. Any additional designated revenue for Scholarships for any of the Regional and/or Annual Schools received thereafter shall be decided by the approved Scholarship Process.
Applicants must demonstrate financial need, meet the criteria specified by the various agencies and individuals who donate the scholarships, complete the Scholarship Application, and submit it before the April 2, 2012 deadline.
Previous recipients who registered for a course, did not show, and did not notify the FSAS of their intentions to not show or inability to attend in advance may no longer be elligible to receive a scholarship. All students are welcome to apply, but the FSAS has the right to determine which individuals will be to attend on scholarship based on previous attendance, financial need, and other determining factors if necessary.

Deadline and Selections

Applicants will be mailed a Scholarship Award Letter (via email as well when an email address is provided by the applicant) informing them as to whether or not they received a scholarship.
Scholarship Recipients will receive a Coupon Code in their Scholarship Award Letter. This Coupon Code can be provided on the Registration Form and also entered into the Coupon Code field on our online registration pages to discount the registration price or waive it.
If you received a scholarship and are unable to attend, please notify the Operations Manager immediately. By forfeiting your scholarship earlier rather than later, you will allow another deserving professional to attend the school in your stead.
Scholarship Recipients must register before June 1, 2012 in order to use their scholarship. If you received a scholarship and did not register prior to June 1, 2012, your Coupon Code will have already expired and you will be unable to use it to register. If you have an unusual circumstance that prevents you from registering prior to June 1, 2012, please contact the Operations Manager prior to May 30th to discuss other arrangements.
