Course Description

Students attending Henrik's course will learn to recognize clients with anti-social (often criminal) personality traits and come to understand the nuances of Axis Diagnoses re DSM IV. Participants will learn to diagnose levels of anti-social personality traits through correct screening and learn to understand the link between anti-social personalities and substance abuse as well as the necessity of dealing with both of the issues.

Participants will come to understand why traditional substance abuse treatment fails with this population. Henrik also instructs how to recognize differences in treatment modalities for violent and non-violent clients who are anti-social. Students will learn to understand appropriate treatment approaches and how to use them: Understanding "Emotional Zero".
