ABOUT THE TRAINER:

Carmine Pecoraro holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology, with a concentration in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology (APA accredited program).  At present he is Director of the Mental Health Counseling Graduate Program/Assistant Professor at Springfield College, at the Tampa, Florida Campus in addition to his private practice and contract work as a professional trainer/consultant.  He is responsible for teaching counseling and organizational management and other related human service courses.

 

In the past he was co-host of the television show Global Health Watch and past co-host of Here’s Help Radio Show in South Florida.  He is presently involved in various workshops and seminars nationally and internationally. Dr. Pecoraro contracted for two years with Medical Arts Counseling Services, Inc., Spring Hill, Fl. as a Mental Health Counseling Intern and worked 4 plus years at Professional Therapy Centers, Inc. in Brooksville, FL. as Supervisor of Substance Abuse Services and Outpatient Services.

COURSE SYNOPSIS: Participants will be involved in an interactive workshop that encourages individuals to bring their own creative counseling experiences into the present, learn some innovative techniques and develop new and exciting creative therapeutic approaches.  Participants will not be treated as empty vessels but as individuals, who come to the workshop with a wealth of knowledge and experiences that everyone can benefit from.
