ABOUT THE TRAINER:

Laureen Pagel, MS, CAP, CAPP,
is the Director of Operations at Sutton Place Behavioral Health, Inc., where she has been since 1997. She began working in the filed 16 years ago as a prevention specialist in the public schools. Laureen currently serves an an Executive Board member of the Florida Certification Board, and is Chairperson of the Case Presentation Method (CPM) Committee, as well as Clinical Supervisor for the oral exams. Laureen is active in her community and serves on numerous boards and councils in order to help increase awareness of substance abuse issues.

COURSE SYNOPSIS: The Addiction Certifications Exam Review course teaches participants the FCB’s role in credentialing addiction professionals, explains the relationship between the Addiction Professional Role Delineation Study and the Written Exam, and provides a thorough review of the core knowledge, skills, and abilities expected of Addiction Professionals. 


PLEASE NOTE: REGARDING THE FLORIDA CERTIFICATION BOARD WRITTEN EXAMS


Your registration and completion of the Addiction Certifications Exam Review course does not register nor automatically qualify you for the Florida Certification Board written exams.

The written exam is scheduled for July 24, 2008 at the close of the Florida School of Addictions Studies, at the University Center from 2:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M.
