Dr. Pecoraro holds a Doctorate Degree in Psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology (APA accredited program). He is a current Florida Licensed Psychologist. In addition, he has earned a Masters of Science Degree in Psychology, Masters of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. He is a Certified Addictions Professional in the state of Florida, Certified Addictionologist, and an Internationally Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor.

He is presently the Assistant Professor/Director of the Master of Science Program in Mental Health Counseling at Springfield College, Springfield, MA (Tampa Florida Campus) in addition to participating in a private practice and contract work as a professional trainer and consultant.

Introduction to Alternative Therapies: The East Meets The West

Counselling and medical practices are changing in the United States. There are an increasing number of individuals wanting to be treated with alternative techniques. In this workshop, individuals will be introduced to the neurobiology of the brain. Additionally, participants will be introduced to that ancient practices herbs, nutrition, naturopathic techniques, vitamins and stimulation of meridian points to compliment traditional counseling practices.
