Course Description

Participants in this course will be able to understand the tasks and functions of the clinical supervisor, improve personal ability to give effective job performance feedback, construct a supervisory interview to achieve specific goals, demonstrate familiarity with the Addiction Counseling Competencies: The Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes of Professional Practice. Students will also learn to assess counselor proficiency in the "Competencies" and design a learning plan to increase counselor performance.

Course Level: Advanced - specifically for individuals who are working to become a Clinical Supervisor or are one.
