27TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF THE
FLORIDA SCHOOL OF ADDICTIONS STUDIES

Mark your calendar now and make plans to attend, because you are invited to join us as an exhibitor and(or) sponsor for the 27th Anniversary of the Florida School of Addictions Studies, scheduled for Sunday, July 20 through Thursday, July 24, 2008, at the University of North Florida’s beautiful University Center (www.unf.edu/dept/uc/) in Jacksonville, Florida. This event traditionally hosts over 300 professionals from the federal, state, and local levels, who attend this highly successful, cooperative event for intensive training with a nationally recognized faculty and unlimited networking opportunities.

The Florida School of Addictions Studies is dedicated to providing the highest quality educational experiences for its students working in substance abuse prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and education at both direct service and management levels. The unique course offerings provide core technology and advanced methodology necessary to acquire and maintain state-of-the-art knowledge and skills.

As an exhibitor for this event, you will be able to take advantage of an excellent opportunity to promote your products or services. In addition to providing you with a forum to exhibit your goods and services, our exhibit room layout virtually guarantees 100% audience exposure.

Exhibit space is available Sunday, July 20th through Thursday, July 24th in the main lobby of the University Center, and includes a six foot draped table, two chairs, electrical outlet, if needed. Your modest exhibitor fee covers your exhibit space and inclusion of 2 representatives for all meals and special events that take place at the school.

Not able to participate as an exhibitor? Then become a scholarship donor or a school or event sponsor for this year’s school! The enclosed registration form describes several opportunities for contributions to student scholarships or event sponsorships, all at a very reasonable cost.

Please indicate your selection on the exhibitor information form.

Because exhibit space is limited, we recommend that you return your registration with full payment as early as possible. Applications with payment will be prioritized and processed in the order received. The deadline to reserve exhibit space is July 1, 2008.

Our theme is “The Spirit Continues” and the faculty, staff, and Board of the Florida School of Addictions Studies sincerely hopes that you will share in that spirit and benefit from this rewarding event. YOUR MEMBERSHIP ORGANIZATION COMMITTEE

STUFFING SERVICE
FSAS School staff will place a copy of your (furnished) promotional materials, discount coupons, etc. in each participant’s portfolio. The cost is $35.00 for each title. (Unlimited # of same title)

“TAKE ONE” TABLE
For companies that do not require an exhibit booth, space will be provided on the “Take One” table for brochures and literature only. Literature provided by “Take One” exhibitors will be maintained by FSAS school staff. The cost is $25.00 for each title displayed. (Unlimited # of same title)

SET UP AND REMOVAL TIME
Set up time: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Sunday, July 20, 2008. Break down time: No later than 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 24, 2008.

CONDITIONS OF EXHIBIT AREA
In installing the exhibit, nothing shall be pasted, tacked, nailed, screwed or otherwise attached to columns, walls, floors or any other part of the building or furniture.

NO SMOKING AREAS
The Exhibit area is a non-smoking area and the Exhibitor agrees to abide by and support this policy

SECURITY
Exhibit management will provide the best possible security during the hours the exhibit area is closed. However, the Exhibitor is solely responsible for his/her exhibit material and should insure against loss or damage.

LIABILITY
The Exhibitor agrees that the Florida School of Addictions Studies, its agents, and employees will not be responsible for any damage or loss of or destruction of the Exhibitors property or injuries to the Exhibitor or their staff, all claims being expressly waived by the Exhibitor. In such an event that the exhibit or conference cannot be conducted as scheduled, the exhibitor agrees not to hold the Florida School of Addictions Studies responsible.

EXHIBIT HOURS
The Exhibit hall will be open daily 7:00 a.m. through the close of scheduled events in the evening.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If an Exhibitor finds it necessary to cancel participation, a refund will be made for cancellations received prior to July 15, 2008. In such an event, the Florida School of Addictions Studies will refund to the Exhibitor the total amount paid, less the sum of $95 which shall be retained as a cancellation processing charge. Refunds for exhibitor cancellations after July 15, 2008 will be at Board discretion. In the event the School is canceled, payments will be refunded in full.
